The Green Sun Tattoo — Black Coffee

Her short red hair was matted down and messed up, sticking out in three directions at once. But to him she had never looked cuter. You see, he was the kind of guy who appreciated the slightly bizarre and saw great beauty in things that were a bit scraggly around the edges. The two them lay sprawled out on the rug. His eyes turned upward following little cracks in the sealing as they talked awhile…

Their first kiss was soft and sweet. The green sun tattoo on her belly rose and fell as they moved together. Most of all he remembered the next morning. Light drifting carelessly though the bedroom window as he moved close and said

“Good morning” in a low toned voice.

She quickly turned over on her side, her back facing him.

“I guess you will go soon…”

She said with a sad drop in her voice.

“Not yet”

He said gently touching her shoulder. His hand began to slowly tumble down the curve of her body.

“I could live forever in that curve.”

He said without thinking. His hand draped casually over her belly

“Go”

“Not yet”

His heart ached at the thought of leaving her…
